Essay on If I Were A Millionaire for Students & Children in English

January 4, 2021 by Sandeep

If I were a Millionaire Essay: It’s certainly a dream and ambition for many of us to become millionaires and earn millions of rupees in our lives. More than earning the huge potluck, spending them judiciously by reaping maximum benefits saves the day. Most of us would aim at improving our living conditions, adding a touch of modernity to everyday lives, contributing to charity, generously spending money for noble causes, leading life luxuriously and leading by example.

Essay on If I Were A Millionaire! 500 Words in English

Below we have provided “If I were a Millionaire!” Essay in English, suitable for class 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10.

Money is a crucial necessary element without which survival is unfeasible. One cannot compare money with love and care because both are equally essential for our life to sustain happily. Each part has its significance and plays a different role. Every person on earth wishes to become a millionaire and change their prevailing conditions so that they offer a better future for themselves. I too dream of becoming a millionaire so that I could provide things to my family for which they always longed for.

If I were a Millionaire

I belong to a middle-class family. We are four of us, my mother, father, elder sister and me. My parents have always supported us and gave all that was possible for them. I could see the struggle behind their smile and happiness, but they never uttered a word about it. We live in a small house trying to adjust ourselves in the restricted space. So, the first thing I will buy is a big house with a vast garden and a balcony. My father loves painting so would buy him expensive canvas board, paints and brushes and tell him to paint the best picture he could ever imagine. Since my mother loves plants; I would help her set up a garden of her dreams.

My sister is into makeup and styling so would shop enough to give her all that she desires. Also, I would buy a car for us and travel across the nation. A trip to Disney land and Europe tour would be booked for four of us. Moreover, I would visit Japan, the country I have been eyeing for years. In the words of H. Jackson Brown Jr, “Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.” I completely subscribe to the statement as I believe that giving increases our chances to receive good in abundance. So that money that comes pouring to me should be showered on the people who require them the most.

Medical treatment is the most expensive thing in India because of which people die. So, I would build a hospital specially catering to the needs of the underprivileged and needy section of our society and ensure that they receive the treatment without any bias at cheap cost. Furthermore, I would open a school where practical learning holds substance than rote learning. The future minds need to comprehend and value for what they get from nature and their role as givers. This school will provide education to poor children who cannot afford admissions in regular schools.

I would even erect schools in rural areas where the children of farmers learn while working in fields. Not only schools but a free library will be opened so that they have access to various types of books with different languages. In such a way, they will have a pool of diverse knowledge. The nursing homes and orphanages will be donated money as and when required. The people who face unemployment will be provided financial aid until they get stable and find a job. I will provide basic amenities to the remote areas.

Essay on If I Were A Millionaire in English For Students & Children

If I Were A Millionaire Essay

I am not a poor man, but I am not a very rich man either. In any at least, I’m not a millionaire. Hence, I don’t have money enough and to spare it. I have money only necessary for fulfilling my simple, common needs.

I’m in the habit of taking imaginary flights. Keeping such a habit in view, I just imagine myself to be a millionaire.

If I were a millionaire, first of all, I’d help all my poor relatives. Then I would provide adequate financial assistance to all my friends and acquaintances. However, this assistance to anybody would not be given blindly or at random. I’d first ensure that the person whom I give the assistance to fully deserves it.

Then I’d open new schools where nominal fees would be charged while providing high-class education.

I’d not bungle in the matter of books nor make unnecessary demands on the students regarding fees, donations, or other charges. I’d pay full salaries and perks to teachers according to government grades.

If my funds allow, I might open a hospital or dispensary to cater to the needs of the poor people. The competent doctors would be appointed. They would be paid by me. However, the patients would be charged very little. All treatment free of charge would be provided to the poor patients.

I do not believe in spending money on luxuries or useless functions. My aim would be to serve the people. In case an emergency arises for my motherland or there is a national disaster or calamity, I’d contribute liberally.

If I Were a Millionaire

Everyone dreams of becoming a millionaire be it the rich or the poor. All want to achieve a status higher than their present one. The constant struggles for higher position remain with the man till his grave. This struggle is also necessary because it keeps motivating a man to achieve higher target than his present ones.

Since, I belong to a middle class family; I know becoming a millionaire is not that easy. But if the Goddess of Fortune smiles, I might just win a lottery and if it happens then I will spend the money very carefully.

The first thing I would purchase after I win a lottery will be a big, spacious bungalow for my family to live in and also will buy a car and modern gadgets for a comfortable living.

I would also donate charities and construct an old age home for elderly people, who are left by their families. I would give them all care so that they do not feel depressed or lonely.

I shall also construct a hospital for mentally challenged people and would employ highly qualified doctors and nurses for them, where they will be given free treatment.

I shall also open social and educational centres for the needy people of the society.

Therefore, if I ever become a millionaire, my effort would be to use this money not only on me but for the society also.

56. English Essay Example on : If I Were a Millionaire

If i were a millionaire.

Would that I was a Prince or a King or a Prime Minister or a millionaire. But sir, if wishes were horses, beggars would ride. This is not a reality. It is possible only in dreams. It is just pious wish.

But if perchance the Mammon (god of Wealth) is gracious to me and he showers piles of wealth on me, I will not let the opportunity slip out of my hands. I will catch it by the forelock. I very well know that time; chance and tide wait for none. If I miss this all-time opportunity of my life, I shall be a fool of the first water; which I do not want to become. Like all others, I, too, want to grow rich.

If I get millions of rupees in my pocket, I shall be the master of the situation. We know that money makes the mare go. I shall complete all my incomplete jobs. I shall get a cozy and comfortable house in a posh colony. I will get it decorated by a first class interior decorator. I will spend money like water. I shall buy a Royal Royce car. I shall purchase all the conceivable (which one can think) luxuries of life. I shall not walk on earth. I shall soar high in the sky. I shall soar wingless. I shall be as free as the air itself.

I shall go round the world not in eighty days as a well-known novel of the similar name proclaims. I shall visit all the countries in the world. I shall go from east to west and from the north to the south. I shall drive to the other end of the globe. The money will not be a constraint (compulsion) in the pursuit of my ambitions. I shall amuse myself in a hundred ways. I will be the luckiest chap of the world, amassing of untold wealth will be my sole aim.

But I should not count my chickens before they are hatched. I should return to the place of reality. I should walk on earth. I must not build castles in the air.

If I Were A Millionaire

Essay No. 01

If I were a millionaire, what shall I do with my millions? Of course, I cannot eat my Gold! I can eat two meals a day like the poorest of human beings.

I will use this money to bring an end to the money-minded civilization. Money has become a great problem. Nobody thinks of the work he can do. Everybody thinks of the money; he can extract from the others.

The first method to achieve my aim would be to form a small community where people would work together for the good of all without thinking of the individual. Everybody would devote himself to the general good. Money would have a secondary position in its thinking, living and doing.

It might be small community of say a hundred men, women and children. They would pool together all their resources—men, money and material. All money would be kept in a common fund which would create opportunities of employment, food, clothing, houses and entertainment for everybody. We should pool together our technical skills and other resources for the good of alt. Production on a large scale is always cheaper and better. To this common effort I would give my millions.

This is how I will use money. I will create a money less civilization. Money is the prime cause of all troubles in the modern world. What we need is a civilization with less stress on the profit motive, a state in which qualities of head and heart are more prized than power and possessions.

This in brief, is my scheme to use millions. I would pass my days supervising the community institutions. I know I will have my hands full, but the satisfaction that I will get from my belief that my money is being properly used, will more than compensate me.

It is also possible that I will have to meet some opposition from various people. I may earn many nicknames, but these things will not deter me. For I know that the task of community welfare is a thankless task. But I know also that my work will be certainly appreciated in the long run.

Actually it is very difficult to say what would have happened if the circumstances were difficult. Since I am not a millionaire, I can make many claims on my conscience. But if the voice of conscience however feeble, is any guide, I would say, with certainty, that I would love to live like any poor man if I were a millionaire.

If I were a Millionaire

Outline: Introduction – alms to the beggars – help to the poor relations – help to poor children – make my fellowmen happier – healthy and happy pursuits -conclusion.

If I were a millionaire, I would have a plan to use the money in the best possible way. This is how I would go about it:

First, I would give alms to the beggars in my town. I would particularly help the blind and the maimed beggars. I do not have an iota, of respect for the aide -bodied ones.

When this would be done, I would send for all my poor relations, and give at least thousand rupees to each of them. I have a very poor relation, a struggling writer. I would give him five thousand rupees. I would also ask all of them to come to my place from time to time to share joys with me. I would never for a moment be selfish and tight – fisted. On the contrary, I would arrange an ice – cream party, once a week, to treat the children of my near and dear ones.

Then I would set aside fifty thousand rupeesin helping poor children. I would see to it that they could go to college on clearing the S.S.C.

Wealth, as we all know, has no absolute power to procure happiness. As soon as wealth is in our grasp, we are tempted to use it for all kinds of bad purposes. Therefore, if I were a millionaire, I would never touch drink, gamble, or go in for any evil pursuit. I would rather go in for the promotion of the welfare and happiness of mankind. This is a laudable ambition and it would be the ideal of my happiness. As a truly philanthropic person, I would always try to make my fellowmen happier. My aim would always be to work for the upliftment of humanity. Any calamity that would befall a person I know would make me unhappy, and I would feel akin to the misery as if I myself had met with a personal loss. I would indeed be a help to the helpless. I would go in disguise at night through the streets of my town to locate the extent of wretchedness and squalor among the people. I would use a lot of my millions to preach the religion of unity, of brotherhood, and of the service to mankind.

It would always be my pride to have healthy and happy pursuits. My chief pleasures would be not only spiritual but also intellectual and artistic. I would buy a lot of good books to read and a fine collection of Indian and Western classical music — compact discs and would travel from Tokyo to Timbuctoo, for travel is education.

Lastly, I would invest the rest of the money in a bank, for I know that the Goddess of Wealth is fickle. Who knows I might become a splendid pauper tomorrow!

Difficult Words: Alms – gifts to the poor. tight – fisted – miserly; not parting with money easily. procure – get. secure. laudable – praise – worthy. squalor – dirtiness and poverty. disguise – act of changing the appearance of oneself. Timbuctoo – town in western Africa in mall (formerly fr.Sudan). near the Niger river. pauper – beggar.

Essay on “If I Were A Millionaire” English Essay, Paragraph, Speech for Kids and Students for Classes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 CBSE, ICSE Board, 272 Words.

If i were a millionaire.

Money is a vital factor and force in man’s life. Life without money has become difficult. Lack of money brings sorrows and miseries. Money is the only medium to purchase things. It is rightly said that money makes the mare go. Everybody wants to become rich overnight. I also sometimes wish to become a millionaire.

If I were a millionaire, first of all I would thank God. I would donate some part of the money to a temple. I would make a comfortable house for my family. It would be a small and simple house. House is one of the basic needs of man. I would give some money to my elder brother. He is still jobless. This money would enable him to start his own work to earn his living.

I would spend a part of this money on public welfare. I would start a free dispensary for the poor people. I would donate some money to an orphanage. The orphans should be given free education. They should become good citizens. Persons who are blind and disabled also deserve help. I would give some money to a local institution to spend it on such persons.

Last of all, I would deposit a major part of the money in a bank. I would get monthly interest on it. It would add to my income. I would spend this money to fulfil my personal needs. I would buy new clothes after every two or three months. I would buy books which would make me a better man. I would not make any show of my wealth. I would not let it turn my head.

If I were a Millionaire: How I Would Spend My Fortune

Piticas Marius

Piticas Marius

If I ever get rich, I could use a million dollars for a lot of different things, and it would be nice to have that kind of financial flexibility. I am in a financial position where I could invest money in a new business venture, go on a vacation across the world, or perhaps buy a house. But in the end, I want to achieve a level of success that allows me to put it to use in order to make the world a better place for the people who are closest to me.
If I came into a significant amount of money unexpectedly, one of the first things I would do with it is donate some of it to a charitable organization. There are a lot of important things happening right now, like efforts to fight poverty and malnutrition and to improve education and medical research. These are only two examples. To the degree that I am able, I would like to be able to lend my support to organizations that are truly making an effort to better the lives of the people who are a part of them. One of my long-term goals is to start my own charity organization, in addition to giving money to charities that are already up and running. If I did this, I would have a bigger say in the areas where my money goes and the objectives that it serves, giving me more control over those aspects of my financial situation. It is possible for me to focus on things that are very important to me, like protecting animals and the environment and spreading arts and culture in poor areas. Investing in my children’s education is one more thing I would do with my riches if I won the lottery. In my opinion, education is one of the most powerful tools that we have at our disposal for sculpting a more positive future for ourselves and those who will come after us. By contributing in some manner to research and educational programs, such as by endowing scholarships, I might be able to make it so that everyone has access to the education and training they need to be successful. This would be a step toward achieving the goal of ensuring that everyone is successful.
Yet, there is more to it than simply giving individuals free money to do with as they choose. If I were to come into a significant amount of money, one of my primary objectives would be to put it to work not just to enhance my own life but also the lives of others who are important to me and to whom I am particularly close. One of my main goals in life is to learn about new cultures and ways of life by traveling a lot and seeing new places. There are a lot of fun things to do, like visiting historical sites and trying out strange foods. Naturally, I’d also want to indulge in a few luxurious items every once in a while, but I’d try to keep it to a minimum. If I were to win the lottery, one of the first things I would do is treat myself to something extravagant like an expensive sports car, a private airplane, or luxurious clothing. Yet even as I indulge in these pleasures, I want to make sure I don’t lose sight of the impact they have on the rest of the world. It’s possible that I’ll come to the conclusion that I want to buy a hybrid car or invest my money in sustainable fashion companies that place an emphasis on doing their company in an ethical and ecologically sound manner. If I were wealthy, one of the most important things I would do with my extra money would be to try to help other people achieve the dreams and ambitions they have set for themselves. Using the tools I have at my disposal, I would like to help other people improve their lives and reach their full potential. This could be done by giving money to a talented artist or musician, helping an entrepreneur get his or her business off the ground, or doing something else. In the long term, if I were to achieve the goal of becoming a billionaire, it would provide me with the ability to make a significant impact on the rest of the world. On the other hand, a high level of responsibility comes along with immense authority. If I were to become wealthy, one of the most important things for me to do with that money would be to invest it in a way that is consistent with my values and has a positive effect on the world. This would be one of my key aims. Being a millionaire comes with a variety of duties, some of which are more functional in nature, such as the obligation to pay taxes. I would need the help of a team of financial experts to know how to handle such a large amount of money. These experts would be able to coach me in making clever investments and ensure that my money is producing income for me. In addition, I would have to be extremely careful about how I spent my money in order to ensure that it would last for a long time and to avoid attracting undesirable attention to myself. This attention would be unwelcome. The fact that conquering these challenges may have a meaningful effect on the status of the world, however, would make the work required to do so more than worthwhile. If I were to win the lottery and become a billionaire, I would be able to make financial contributions to causes that are meaningful to me, aid other people in accomplishing their goals, and live a life that is full of experiences and opportunities to grow.
To summarize , if I were to win the lottery and become a billionaire, one of the things I would want to do with my newfound wealth would be to invest it in a way that is congruent with the values I uphold and that has a positive impact on the world. Contributing to charitable causes, investing money in educational opportunities, and lending a helping hand to aspiring businesspeople and artists are just some of the many ways in which I can play a part in making the world a better place to live. There are many other ways that I can do this as well. In spite of the fact that becoming a billionaire comes with its own special set of challenges, in my opinion, the advantages of achieving this goal would more than make up for the risks associated with doing so. In the end, the most important thing would be to put my good fortune to use in a manner that not only brings true fulfillment and delight to myself but also to other people. This would be a win-win situation.

Essay on If I Were a Millionaire

( Write a short essay/article/paragraph on If I were a Millionaire for class 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 200-250 words in English, important for the exam. )

Everyone has a desire to be a millionaire . I have also a desire to become a millionaire. Would that I were a millionaire ! If I win a lottery and become a millionaire , I would spend the money. I purchase some necessary things for my parents.

I shall help the poor , the sick , and the needy . I shall open schools for the poor . There will no fee for the poor students.

I find that many people still die for want of proper medical aid. I would, therefore, open a dispensary for the poor . This would save the poor from the jaws of death.

I find that there is at present no provision for the support of the orphans and the widows . I would, therefore, lose no time in opening an orphanage and a widow house. They will work there and live honorably.

This is how I shall make use of this money. There may be, people will laugh at me for spending my money in this manner but they perhaps do not realise that the inner happiness that a man gets out of helping the poor and the needy is something more valuable.
